The Municipality does not have a specific staff component to deal with housing matters as the provision of housing is a Provincial function.
If and when, a housing project is approved, the services, Consulting Engineers and Contractors are procured through prescribed SCM Principles by the relevant Departments.

An objective of the municipality is also to enhance sustainable service delivery through infrastructure development.
With reference to assisting community members to register and apply on the NHNR for possible housing solutions and assistance to address the housing backlogs.
